1. Account Information
How does the account work?
- You must maintain an account with a chargeable credit/ card or check/debit card to pay for your tolls.. Each time your Cruise Card passes through a toll lane, the applicable toll fee will be deducted from your account. When your account reaches $10.00, your credit/debit card will automatically be charged $20.00 to replenish your account.
- What if I have a business and need multiple Cruise Cards?
Commercial users must maintain a pre-paid account with a chargeable credit/debit card to pay for your tolls. The amount increases to $125 for 26 or more Cruise Cards.
- Can I use the Cruise Card on any vehicle?
No. Each Cruise Card is assigned to only ONE vehicle. It is not interchangeable. You can have up to five vehicles on one account simply by contacting the SRTA or going online. Each additional Cruise Card DOES NOT need a minimum $20.00 starting balance.
2. Signing Up
I’m convinced! How can I sign up for an account?
- Currently you can apply online at Georgia Cruise Card Online Application, or you can download the application and return it to us by fax or mail.
You can also contact us over the phone and we can start the application process. All you will need is a valid credit card number, your vehicle information (license plate number and description) and current address.

3. Toll Violations
why did I get a toll violation notice?
- A vehicle registered to you passed through the Cruise lane without a Cruise Card being detected. .
- The vehicle passed through the Cruise lane with a Cruise Card assigned to a different vehicle or license plate.
- The Cruise Card has been deactivated.
4. Maintaining Your Account
How do I update vehicle, address, or credit card information for my Cruise Card account?
What happens if I receive a new credit card and do not update my card information with SRTA?
- Credit cards expire, so you need to inform SRTA of the new expiration date, and if you change, switch or cancel your credit card. When we cannot re-bill your credit card to replenish your account, we will be forced to close your account.
How do I close my Cruise Card account?
- Just send a request to close the account, to our office. You only need to return any GREEN Cruise Cards so that we may dispose of properly. When we receive your request to close, we will refund any remaining balance in the account.
